This Privacy Policy explains how SWIFT Code (“the App”), provided by Yongqiang Wen (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use the App on iOS. The App’s home-screen name is SWIFT Code. The App Store listing name is SWIFT Code: BIC Finder.

1. What the App does

The App provides an offline reference directory of bank SWIFT / BIC codes so you can look up institutions by code, name, city, branch, or country/region. Favorites you save stay on your device. The App does not require an account.

The bundled bank-code directory is third-party reference data licensed under the MIT license (compiled/redistributed via swiftbic.org). It is not the official SWIFTRef product. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication). Always confirm payment routing details with the beneficiary bank before sending money.

2. Information we process

2.1 On your device

• Search queries, browse activity, and Favorites are processed on your device for App features.

• We do not operate an App-specific backend that collects your search history or Favorites.

2.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)

• Unless you purchased Remove Ads, the App may show banner, interstitial (for example after you finish viewing a bank detail), and app-open ads via Google AdMob.

• Google and its partners may collect device identifiers (including IDFA when App Tracking Transparency allows), IP address, approximate (coarse) location, advertising data, and similar information to deliver and measure ads, under Google’s policies.

• Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) may ask for privacy choices before personalized advertising is allowed. You can manage choices via Ad Privacy / Privacy Options in Settings when that entry is required.

• Personalization depends on your region, UMP choices, and ATT selection.

2.3 Analytics (Umeng)

• After you agree to the in-app privacy notice, we may use the Umeng SDK to collect aggregated usage and diagnostic information (for example launches, feature events, device model, OS version, coarse location typically via IP, crash/performance-related diagnostics, and identifiers provided by the SDK) to improve stability and the product.

• If the Umeng App Key is not configured, analytics is not started.

2.4 Purchases

• The optional one-time Remove Ads purchase is processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide purchase/entitlement status so the App can unlock ads-off.

2.5 Feedback email

• If you email us, we receive the address and content you send (and any device information you include). We use it only to respond and improve the App.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: your consent (in-app notice, UMP, ATT where required); legitimate interests (security, basic product improvement, fraud prevention); and contract/necessity to provide features you request (including Restore Purchases).

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by:

• Apple (App Store, StoreKit, system services)

• Google (AdMob / UMP advertising)

• Umeng (analytics, when enabled)

• Our email provider when you contact support

These parties act under their own privacy policies.

5. Retention

• Favorites and local preferences remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.

• Ad and analytics retention follow the third-party providers’ policies.

• Support emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.

6. Your choices

• Decline or leave the in-app privacy notice (ads/analytics will not start until you agree, as implemented in the App)

• Use Ad Privacy / Privacy Options in Settings when UMP requires a privacy entry point

• Allow or deny ATT; change Tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

• Purchase Remove Ads to stop ads in the App

• Delete Favorites in the App; delete the App to remove local data

• Contact us at feedbackofapp@outlook.com for privacy questions or deletion requests we control

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International transfers

Ad and analytics providers may process data in other countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards are handled by those providers under their terms.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy where permitted by law.
