HOLD Cool Down helps you cool down before you buy. It is built to keep your shopping urges on your device—not on our servers.

1. What we collect

- The core experience (seal, thaw, pass, saved totals) runs on your device. No account is required.

- Networking is not required to seal items, wait for thaw hour, pass, extend, or buy.

- Content you enter—such as item titles, prices, optional links, optional photos, thaw-hour preference, haptics preference, and unlock status—is stored only on your device (for example via on-device storage / the app’s local database).

- Optional photos you attach to a seal stay on your device. We use the photo library only when you choose to add a photo; we do not upload those photos to our servers.

- Optional local notifications remind you at your thaw hour. Scheduling uses Apple’s notification system on your device. We do not receive the content of your seals through notifications.

- If you use the optional one-time unlock (In-App Purchase), payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive your card number or full payment credentials.

- Apple may process purchase receipts under Apple’s privacy policy so that Restore Purchases can work on your devices.

2. What we do not do

- We do not operate our own backend that stores your seals, photos, or saved amounts.

- We do not run advertising tracking or third-party ad SDKs for tracking.

- We do not sell personal information to third parties.

- We do not link your bank, cards, or brokerage accounts.

- We do not build advertising profiles, streak leaderboards, or cross-app tracking of your shopping behavior.

- We do not require unlock to complete a basic Seal → Thaw → Pass loop within the free limit.

3. Feedback email

If you contact us by email, we use your message and email address only to reply. Please do not send bank details, government ID images, or other sensitive identity documents by email.

4. Children

HOLD Cool Down is intended for a general audience (App Store age rating typically 4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will delete it where appropriate.

5. Your choices

- You can edit or delete seals in the app, change thaw hour and haptics in Settings, or delete the app (which removes on-device data).

- You can revoke photo or notification permission in iOS Settings.

- You can restore a prior unlock via Restore Purchases (handled with Apple).

- You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

6. International users

HOLD Cool Down may be available in multiple App Store storefronts. Processing related to purchases is handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

7. Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above, and we will try to note it in a release when practical.
