Privacy Policy for Draw

This Privacy Policy explains how Draw (“the App”), provided by Sucheng Wen (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use the App on iOS.


App Store name (English): Draw: Photos & Blank Canvas.

Home Screen / in-app display names (by language): Draw (English); 画画 (Simplified Chinese); 畫畫 (Traditional Chinese); お絵かき (Japanese).

Product focus: blank-canvas sketching and photo doodle, including highlighter and opacity controls, a local works library, Save to Photos, and system share.


1. Summary

Draw is designed to keep your sketches and photo doodles on your device. We do not require an account. Some optional features—advertising and analytics—may collect limited device and usage data as described below. Analytics runs only if you agree when prompted. Where required, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before personalized advertising.


2. Information We Process


2.1 Content you create

• Drawings, photo backgrounds you choose for photo doodle, drafts, and works stored in the App remain on your device unless you choose to export them (for example Save to Photos) or share them through the iOS share sheet or another app you select.

• We do not operate a Draw cloud account that uploads your artworks by default.


2.2 Permissions

• Photo Library (read): used when you pick an image as a canvas background for photo doodle.

• Photo Library (add / Save to Photos): used only when you choose to save a finished work to the Photos app.

• Camera: used only when you take a photo as a canvas background for photo doodle.

• You can deny these permissions in iOS Settings; related features will be unavailable. Blank-canvas drawing does not require these permissions.


2.3 Purchases

• If you buy “Remove Ads”, Apple processes the payment through StoreKit / your Apple ID. We receive an entitlement signal that ads should be hidden. We do not receive your full payment card details.


2.4 Advertising (Google AdMob)

• The App may show banner, interstitial, and app-open ads via Google AdMob unless you have purchased Remove Ads.

• Google and its partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interaction data, and similar information to deliver and measure ads, in accordance with Google’s policies.

• After you agree to the in-app privacy notice (when shown), we may request App Tracking Transparency. If you allow tracking, ads may be personalized when permitted by Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) and applicable law. If you deny tracking or personalized ads are otherwise unavailable, ads may still appear in a non-personalized or limited form.

• You can change tracking and personalized-ads settings in iOS Settings.


2.5 Analytics (Umeng)

• If you tap Agree on the privacy / analytics consent dialog, we use the Umeng SDK to collect aggregated usage statistics (for example app launches, feature events, device model, OS version, and device identifiers as provided by the SDK) to improve stability and product decisions.

• If you do not agree, analytics is not enabled and you can continue using the App, including blank canvas and photo doodle features.

• Umeng processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.


2.6 Diagnostics you send voluntarily

• If you email feedback (feedbackofapp@outlook.com) via the in-app mail sheet, the message may include app version, OS version, and device model that the App pre-fills. Do not include sensitive personal data unless necessary.


3. How We Use Information

• Provide blank-canvas drawing, photo doodle, works library, Save to Photos, share, and purchase-restore features

• Show ads (unless removed) and measure ad performance via AdMob

• Improve the App when analytics consent is granted

• Respond to support requests


4. Sharing of Information

• With Apple for in-app purchases

• With Google (AdMob) for advertising

• With Umeng when analytics consent is granted

• When you explicitly save to Photos or share an image via the system share sheet, the destination you choose receives that content under their policies

We do not sell your personal information.


5. Data Retention

• Local drawings, drafts, and works remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.

• Images you save to Photos are retained in your Photos library under your control.

• Ad and analytics data retention is governed by Google, Umeng, and Apple according to their policies.

• Support emails are retained as needed to respond to you.


6. Children’s Privacy

The App is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of creating user profiles. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us via email, contact us and we will delete it when appropriate.


7. International Processing

Ad and analytics providers may process data on servers outside your country. Where required, they rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms described in their policies.


8. Your Choices

• Decline analytics consent when prompted (or avoid agreeing)

• Purchase Remove Ads to stop in-app ads in Draw

• Deny or reset App Tracking Transparency in iOS Settings

• Disable camera / photos access in iOS Settings

• Limit Ad Tracking / personalized ads in iOS Settings

• Delete local works in the App or uninstall the App to remove local content

• Contact us to ask questions about this Policy


9. Third-Party Policies

• Umeng: refer to Umeng’s current privacy policy for the SDK region you use


10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy where permitted by law.
