Terms of Service for FabbyLook

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FabbyLook iOS application (“the App”) provided by Sucheng Wen (“we”, “us”).
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The Service
FabbyLook provides on-device real-time hair color try-on using the camera, a local Looks gallery, optional save to Photos, sharing via iOS system features, optional advertising, and an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove ads.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms / App Store Terms of Use.
3. No Account
The App does not require a FabbyLook user account. An Apple ID is required to download the App and to purchase or restore in-app purchases.
4. Your Content
You retain rights to the Looks and images you create. You are responsible for how you share them. You must not use the App to create or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
5. On-Device Processing and Camera
Hair try-on is designed to run on your device using the camera. Camera frames may include your face and hair while you use try-on. The App processes frames on-device for hair segmentation and recoloring and does not upload your live camera stream to FabbyLook servers. Details about camera / face-containing data are in our Privacy Policy. Results may vary with lighting, hair style, camera quality, and device performance. The App does not replace professional salon advice.
6. In-App Purchases
• “Remove Ads” is a non-consumable, one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
• Prices are shown in the App via Apple and may vary by storefront.
• Payment, billing, refunds, and restoration are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. Use Settings → Restore Purchase after reinstall or on a new device signed into the same Apple ID.
• Core try-on, Looks gallery, and sharing remain available without purchase.
7. Ads and Analytics
The free version may display ads (Google AdMob). Analytics (Umeng) may be used to improve the product. Regional privacy messaging (UMP) may apply. Details are in our Privacy Policy:
8. Intellectual Property
The App, name, branding, and software (excluding your content and third-party SDKs) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law.
9. Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, perfect color matching, or that ads/analytics will always be available.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US for the Remove Ads purchase in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if you made no purchase), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
11. Third-Party Services
Apple, Google AdMob, Umeng, and any app you share to are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may stop offering the App or change features. Provisions that should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
